Kansas State University Polytechnic and Barton Community College offer a 2 + 2 that allows students to earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree with an emphasis in Emergency Management at Barton, and to transfer many of those credits to K-State towards the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Applied Business and Technology offered through distance education. Kansas Wesleyan University and Barton Community College at Ft. Riley offer a 2+2 that allows students to earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree with an emphasis in Emergency Management/Homeland Security at Barton, and to transfer the majority of those credits to Kansas Wesleyan towards the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management offered through distance education.
